Evercreech Walking Group

Autumn / Winter 2017/18

This summer an ever growing Walking Group has hiked and talked its way around the hills and paths in the area. Two all- day walks took us to Cranmore Tower where the weather was kind enough for those who added the steps up the tower to get a good view and the second saw our hardy group take in a circular walk of 12 miles-ish out to Upton Noble!

On a very blustery and showery Monday in June, we were almost blown off Corton Denham ridge, but again, the views were spectacular. The fact that this summer’s walks have been wetter than most has failed to dampen the spirits and numbers have increased again.

Thank you to everyone who has joined me on the walks, I hope you will continue to support the group. Do come and join us, everyone is welcome; it is a great way to enjoy the countryside and get fit at the same time.
