November 2017 News

Evercreech Friendship Club

("Where Friends are Made")       1975 - 2017

After we celebrated our 42nd birthday last month. Many thanks to Meridith on the Piano, our number entertainer gave the party a real swing flavour, yes the old ones are the best ! Now our thoughts turn to the long winter months ahead. In November we start with a early festive get-together to warm things up, then of course our December Christmas Party at the Bell Inn, a visit from Father Christmas, presents, wine and plenty of food to banish those winter blues. We are currently confirming the 2018 programme  (SEE UPDATES BELOW) which already has new speakers booked for the coming year.

With over 40 members, one of the largest clubs in the Village, we are still going strong, also we remain one of (if not the only) club to offer real “value for money” quality. So........ if you live in the village, or surrounding area, over 55 years of age, why not come along, and meet old friends or make new ones. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 2pm. There is always a warm welcome waiting! Having problems getting to the hall? FREE transport for all our meetings to and from the Gartons Mead area!

Are you over 55 years young? Just arrived in the village or have been here many years? Why not come along to our monthly meetings, it’s warm, friendly (that’s where our name comes from) good speakers and activities. We have a good old chat and a laugh. 30 plus new friends are there to welcome you...... that's how !
